The exact names of folders may differ, depending on your version of Windows, Mac OS X or Linux, and your system language preferences and other settings. (When in doubt, you can use your computer's search tools to look for folders named 'tuxpaint'.)

By default (as of version 0.9.15), they are stored in the 'TuxPaint' folder within the user's 'Application Data' folder, e.g.: 'C:Documents and SettingsUsernameApplication DataTuxPaintsaved' - macOS
By default, they are stored in the the 'tuxpaint' folder within the user's 'Application Support' folder, e.g., '/Users/Username/Library/Applicaton Support/TuxPaint/saved/'. (Prior to Tux Paint 0.9.15, they may be under 'Preferences' instead of 'Application Support'.) - Linux and Unix
