Introduction
Android-x86 is an open-source project that makes porting of Google’s Android mobile operating system to run on Intel x86 or AMD powered devices.
Chih-Wei Huang and Yi Sun originated the project in 2009 with series of patches to enable Android to run on tablets, netbooks, and PC’s.
